Transgender elderly people, music and literature

What You See opens the video exhibition during the second Queer Café in the Utrecht library Ik mag zijn wie er is (I can be whoever is there). In it, Erik Alkema and Eveline van de Putte portray five older transgender people. Presenter Teddy Tops discusses Eveline's book Stormachtig Stil en   about pink and queer/transgender elderly people. In addition, photographer Marvel Harris talks about the newly published photo book Marvel, in response to the project Inner Journey. Sharona Maguette Diop and Dan Madjub come to talk about Hoktopie, a project made by 12 HKU students in the context of What You See and they read from their own work. The evening ends with a lecture by Senna Pauli.

The Queer Café will also be streamed via the online channels of What You See Festival with room for Q&A. Join the conversation, wherever you are!
