Collectives Arts of Resistance and Papaya Kuir unite for What You See, coming together to create an exceptional evening brimming with decolonial voices. Artists, artisans, activists and other distinguished guests from the Global South cleverly deconstruct the enduring impact that colonialism has to this day. From Asia to Latin America, stories come together to shine a light on struggles, resilience, and resistance.
Invitees from Asia to Latin America come together and show their fighting spirit, strength and resistance. A mini-festival with performances, exhibitions, workshops, live music, conversations and rituals. Including performances by Anima Ruissen and Papaya Kuir, illustrations by Tings Chak, a panel discussion led by Alejandra Ortiz, live music by Marikit Saturay, Una Nota Perdida and Pravini Baboeram. DJs Ivicore, Polemik and Eurowitch end the evening with an epic party. The complete program can be found at the bottom of this page.
