Young authors about queer bodies and the city

For the second time, feminist bookstore Savannah Bay and What You See Festival are joining forces for a literary evening. Queering the City of Literature is an initiative to 'queer' the city.  Authors Chris Lomans, Anne Chris van Doesburg and Edna Azulay each wrote a text about their bodies in relation to the city. Personal and compelling, they offer a new view of Utrecht through their texts. On this evening they will read from their own work, you will be treated to a musical intermezzo and Steff Geelen, one of next year's authors, will introduce herself. The texts have also been bundled in a Zine that every visitor will receive as a gift. So come!

The texts can also be read in the city. Here you will find the routes to explore the city yourself.
