Named after the Armenian divinity that safeguards water and all fluid beings, ANAHIT is a mesmerizing journey into an enigmatic realm. This performance is a captivating solo dance by Giorgia Ohanesian Nardin, an Italian artist of Armenian descent, in which language, movement, and soundscape seamlessly merge. Giorgia has previously been involved in What You See with their Pleasure Body Workshop and their audio work, Manifest. With ANAHIT, they bring a unique and immersive landscape to this year’s festival, beckoning attendees to simultaneously sink into its depths and find shelter in its beauty. ANAHIT is a space that embraces you, where moments of mourning, pleasure, and acceptance of the past coexist.
