BLUE MY MIND | Lisa Brühlmann

The 15-year old Mia just moved to a new town, doesn’t know anyone at school yet and doesn’t get along with her parents. She joins in with a group of cool chicks who spend their time shoplifting, drinking, taking drugs and partying.

She numbs herself with alcohol and drugs, to hide the fact that she is not a regular teenage rebel. She drinks salt water, consumes the fish in her mother’s aquarium and discovers her body becoming scaly.

Far-reaching, inevitable changes take place in her body and this radical metamorphose unleashes an explosion of emotions. A mysterious coming-of-age drama that provides a poignant but unsettling look at blossoming sexuality and friendships.
