What You See in EKKO

Ekko is located in a narrow canal house and has some accessibility limitations.

  •  There is no wheelchair-friendly access to the high threshold of the building. We are happy to place a modular ramp that we have ready for you! Mail to bouke@ekko.nl.
  • The monumental corridor is too narrow for the more modern electric wheelchairs, EKKO is investigating whether this can be adjusted next year.
  • Once inside, the concert and club hall is easily accessible due to its ground-level location and hard surface. The narrowest passage towards the hall is 0,7 metres, or for wheelchairs with a small turning circle (most push and hand-operated wheelchairs) 0,85 metres.
  • Trained assistance dogs are welcome.
  • Do you need a supporter? A ticket for that person is free. Mail to tickets@whatyouseefestival.nl.
  • The bus stops Oudenoord (Buses 3, 6 and 7) and Adelaarstraat (Bus 1) are the closest to EKKO in the area
