IN FIRST PERSON (research) | Daniel Mariblanca

Last year during What You See Festival, the solo 71Bodies 1Dance of the Spanish Daniel Mariblanca left a deep impression. This year, he returns to What You See with the ‘work-in-process’ In First Person. Together with the 54 year old boat builder Tonje Havstad and through dance, film and a conversation, Daniel open-heartedly shares the impact of a transition on your sense of belonging. A sense of belonging in a body that is influenced by hormones and in relation to a family that needs to adapt to changes within the family structure.

A conversation with Daniel and Tonje is part of the performance.
