In The Trans Yearbook, seventy trans people are reimagined through small passport-style portraits. After their social or medical transitions, many no longer recognised themselves in their old school photos. Dutch-Liberian, queer, and non-binary photographer Tengbeh Kamara offers them the chance to reclaim that image—capturing each person in the classic school photo style, this time reflecting who they truly are today. This intimate and powerful photo exhibition can be visited for free during What You See opening hours in the foyer of Theater Kikker.
