Silvia Gribaudi is back on What You See! In the Dutch premiere of the dance solo Suspended Chorus The Italian choreographer stands alone on stage, but she is certainly not alone. In her own unique way, she draws the audience inextricably into her work. Influenced by female dance pioneers like Pina Bausch, Isadora Duncan, and Anna Pavlova, Gribaudi explores the limits and potential of her 50-plus-year-old body. Suspended Chorus shatters modern beauty standards. With humor and compassion, Gribaudi emphasizes the mortality of every body while celebrating the power of the collective. We're all in this together.

Suspended Chorus is co-produced by What You See Festival.

Suspended Chorus is a subtle invitation to appreciate and celebrate a dancing body, and the vulnerability it shares builds a chorus of other bodies.
