What is the relation between power and sex? In Mooie Woorden: Power vs Sex literary collective Mooie Woorden, with a series of hard-hitting writers, such as Asmae Amaddaou, Simone Atangana Bekono, Yael van der Wouden, Tessel ten Zweege and Lisa Weeda, exposes these power relations. Because why do we ask at a circle birthday party "are you still going on holiday?" but not "what power relations play a role in your sex life?" How does desire relate to shame and jealousy? How can you be queer when certain powers weigh on your sexuality? With literature, conversation, poetry, visual art and the necessary aftercare, they shed light on this subject that is far too often hidden in the dark.
