In a world collapsing under war and destruction, humanity decides to preserve a group of people for the future… by freezing them. Unanimously, trans children are chosen as the ultimate messengers—seeds of transformation the world so urgently needs. Dancing, singing, and imagining, they prepare themselves for the freezing ritual. What will the world look like when they awaken thousand years from now? De Boodschappers (The messengers) is a hopeful and uplifting dance-theater performance featuring ten trans children aged 8 to 13, alongside one trans elder of 80. The performance will be followed by an after talk.
