Soul touching solo and sensual dance duet

COMBI-ALERT!

THE BASEMENT

In the Dutch premiere of The Basement choreographer Daniel Mariblanca and his trans-inclusive dance company 71BODIES explore Daniel's deepest, most intense feelings. Those feelings that are indescribable by words, but that dig into the very core of your soul. The Basement is a fictional space, used by Daniel to find a sense of liberation in his memories and emotions. Fear and pain transform into a tool to overcome difficulty and his vulnerability sprouts courage, agency and freedom. A physically impressive performance in which fiction and reality exist together.

THIS RESTING, PATIENCE

In This resting, patience Ewa Dziarnowska and Leah Marojević build an ever-evolving, caring and attentive dance performance. Both generous and sensual, the work explores themes of attraction, repetition, form and feeling. The way you enter and exit the room, become part of the audience, take in the dance and immerse yourself in the atmosphere all shapes the collective experience. The performance lasts three hours, during which you may freely leave and re-enter.
